Summertime 2008 Greetings, We have been working on our website and have recently launched a new version of our web store so please forgive us for any inconsistancies you may encounter. Every day we make small improvements, but since our website is not entirely database-driven, much of these improvements require human intervention! If you have questions, please call us - we love to hear from our customers. Hopefully everyone has their boat in the water now and are ready to enjoy the fruits of their up-grading, redoing, cleaning, painting, etc., etc., etc. labors! Throughout the summer we are here to help with problems that arise - and to make suggestions for improving systems. We don't sell everything, but what we sell we know inside out. The point is to get as much enjoyment as possible in the precious time we get to spend on the water. Great Water is now offering BALMAR alternators and regulators. In addition new for us are the VICTRON ENERGY inverters and battery chargers. The QL Boat Trim System has been upgraded. Now there is a fully AUTOMATIC Trim option available. By adding a GPS antenna and the Automatic Attitude Control, once set, the system will automatically adjust the trim for a smooth ride. We have fantastic pricing on the trim systems. Volvo-Penta has a new model bow thrusters, the QL CT-600 and CT-900. They are very compact for easy drop-in installation and feature a lower housing entirely made of Stainless Steel so you won’t have to worry about changing zincs! The belt-drive is smooth and produces very little noise and vibration while in operation. We now have the QL Thruster installation tool available for rent - contact us for more details. Recently some very brave customers completed installation of the CT -900 and they sent us photos of the project. We were impressed with the professional results. More photos are on the QL Thruster Page. For those of you undertaking the installation of a refrigeration (or freezer) system, we have added two articles: a PLANNING GUIDE and ICE BOX DESIGN. We have sold hundreds of systems during the past 10 years and have some down-to-earth pointers for you. When in doubt, call us! The best information you can supply is a simple drawing with measurements of your existing icebox. With this in hand we can make suggestions for the appropriate equipment to complete your project.
